THE MOST SIMPLE TASK IS THEIR BIGGEST CONCERN!

The simplest things we don't think about...

The making of a bow

Shawn has been practicing hard to make bows... We always had to get the velcro shoes because of his AFO braces and now that he can wear shoes with actual laces, he is intrigued!!

He kept trying to make this on my hoodie today and you could see his concentration and focus on getting the bunny around the tree. Lol

I am just in awe of him sometimes, he has to know how it works and HOW to do it, and he is full of questions...#allboy

I kept kissing his forehead and he never lost focus... Lol He is used to the kissy monster (aka Mommy) LOL

BUT it got me thinking that it is seriously second nature to us now, BUT we once had to learn it...sometimes we take for granted the simple little ways our child learns and grows.

As I sat there watching him, I just became overwhelmed with a feeling of being blessed.

After watching our next super trainers background video, and learning she struggled with having kids and watching her cry because she can't get pregnant...💔.. It just makes you aware of what you have... Because I am looking at the face of the sweetest little boy you ever seen.

So yeah... I am emotional tonight... as I started my new job this week (totally loving it by the way), and just feeling blessed that I had time with him, that he is apart of our lives (even some days he can test my patience lol), but also the fact that I am proud of the person he is becoming.

He is learning responsibility, respect, and discipline with karate and just getting more and more independent daily.

While this does hurt my heart sometimes, I know he has to grow up... All part of life.

Love you Shawn... Thanks for slowing me down today to focus on a 🎀bow🎀

This momma needs perspective every now and then!
