Shawn loves Karate!!! He was working hard on his kicks... His personal struggle, because of his little stiff legs from clubfeet. BUT... He is trying his absolute best and that makes my heart happy!! 

In my personal development, I learned there is a roller-coaster of emotions to life...some up and happy days and some low sad days... When I was pregnant with Shawn and they told me that I was going to give birth to a little baby with clubfeet, my heart sank💔...

I was born with clubfeet, and I know my mom and dad talked about how they struggled with me with all the crying, surgeries, casting, and braces and all I kept praying was... "Please God... Don't let it be as bad as mine was." 

Today, he flies like the wind and nothing will stop him and it reminds me that you can be and do anything in life if you want... He makes me proud to be his mom and honestly... I am proud of myself, because as bad as I was growing up, I am still able to walk and show up in life, and be there for that precious little boy.

Remember... Life throws curve balls, but you gotta remember to hold your head high and go for it.

Be like Shawn... Work on those struggles, never give up and always pursue new opportunities!!
