Have you ever said any of these things before??
"I know I NEED to workout but I just don't or I don't feel like it."

"I know I should do this, but I don't have time."

"I know I should care, but I just don't...I am what I am and there is no changing me."
So many think you have to go ALL in and for me...I did...but for some, it won't benefit them and that is why I say BABY STEP it.
Let me help you set the mindset to a more accepting way of thinking about health and fitness in general. I hope you find these tips below helpful:
***Don't tell yourself your NOT capable!
THIS right here is the biggest reason so many won't start. They honestly don't believe they can. It's not that they can't...it's that they WON'T and it is usually because they are afraid of failure or think it will be too hard to change. Plot twist - It isn't hard to change. It is about making swaps in your habits that steer you to a healthier lifestyle.
These small swaps make MASSIVE shifts over time - pick one and do it:
More Water & Less Soda = More Weight Loss. (Wean yourself from soda and other empty calorie drinks - you will be shocked at how much more food you can actually eat when you do this!)
More Veggies, Lean Proteins, & Healthy Fats = More Weight Loss. Processed foods jack you up...plain and simple.
More Variety Of Foods = More Weight Loss. (Don't get bored with your food - hence why I love our nutrition programs! Mix it up and try new recipes and vegetables and cooking methods!)
More Movement & Less Scrolling. (Trust me...you can take a 20 minute walk and feel better for it!) We literally have a program that is 600 seconds - Shawn is actually doing it and loving it! It doesn't have to take a lot of time either - so just remember that!
***Get Yourself a Powerful WHY!
I shared in my workout post today that so many have a "I DREAD THIS BECAUSE I HAVE TO" mindset about working out and eating healthier. I think once you focus on theBENEFITSof movement and eating healthier rather than seeing it as a chore it will help. I personally move for a better FUTURE quality of life. Time and time again I have seen older people struggle because they didn't stay active. I don't want that for my future. I am a mom to boy who is my world and I plan on being there for him and living my best life. I don't wake up with aches and pains and with me being 41 this year, that is saying something to the habits I have adopted. What stays in motion - will stay in motion. Plus I know what morbidly obese feels like and I am not about to go back there!
TIP: Get yourself a journal and have a vision for the future health you want to have. What does the person you want to become look like and what are they doing? Go into depth on what your REAL why is? This will be your driving motivation when life gets you down. It is the REASON WHY you want this so badly!! It helps my friend! I couldn't stand the thought of me losing both of my legs to sugar because of my junk food addiction. Giving up 36 candy bars a week for a future that I had SOME control in was all on me and I had to take charge of it.
***What will you stick with??
Everyone always ask what program is the best program to do? It's simple, the one you will stick too! That is why I personally LOVE our nutrition programs - we aren't counting calories, grams, or weighing our food. I have a variety on our fitness library to choose from so I never get bored and that my friend is why this has been the driving force in my success! I used to count calories and all the grams over 15 years ago and it sucked - BAD!! I don't want to stick to that...so I don't do that! LOL I chose THESE specific programs for a reason and it is because it is sustainable!
So l can help you pick which program to do, which nutrition program you might enjoy, but it comes down to ONE thing -HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT?
