PD IS KEY TO A POSITIVE MINDSET BECAUSE I AM...

What if???

Man oh man….Every time I listen to Joyce she gets me thinking! LOL I guess she is doing her job. Today’s topic was “What If?” She said let’s try to think of some things that could be different for you if you changed your outlook on life. The first question floored me and got me thinking – Am I living to ALL my potential that I know I can do? My honest answer – No. Why is that? Fear sinks in and takes over. She went on with some of these (of what I could remember):

** What if you told God today that you are going to give life YOUR 100% full effort…what would that look like? What would you be doing different that would change your life from here on out?

** What if you stopped complaining about the little petty things that you have no control over??

** What if you took care of yourself and stopped eating fast food all the time??

** What if you stopped blaming everyone for mistakes and looked at your own self??

** What if you just actually filled your mind with positive thoughts instead of always thinking the negative of yourself?

She went on and said do you realize it ALL can happen with God in your life? Anything is possible but it starts with YOU taking action.

You can’t just dream it up, you literally have to take the steps to work towards this, but if you REALLY want to live a life filled with more love than hate, more happiness than sadness, more health than sickness, than it starts with YOU!

The more you take care of yourself, the more GOOD days you will have, which in turn gives you a better healthier life – emotionally, physically, and mentally!

She said no one wants to walk around feeling awful all the time - what kind of life is that? What example are you setting for your kids? To hate their boring sedentary lives? WHAT?!? Oh my, so true...monkey see monkey do!

YES, YES, and YES!!!!

She brightens my day every morning guys and helps me think about things that would normally tear me apart. I get stronger everyday because life can be tough, but we don't have to let our problems take over!

What do you listen to or read that puts a smile on that beautiful face of yours!??

ARE YOU TAKING CARE OF YOU TODAY?

Are you loving yourself today?! Think about all the wonderful things your body does for you:

Breathes life everyday so you can enjoy your loved ones!

Carries all the blood to your brain and heart and besides it is a wonderful machine that God created!

Your able to move, chase your kids, pick them up, hold them tight, and tell them stories!

After all the wonderful things it does for you, why would you treat it poorly?? Why not take care of all the precious things it does for you by eating healthy and exercising daily?

Before I started, none of these hit home until there was a possibility I could lose it all. Don't waste time with excuses, or your BS story of why you can't. You owe it to yourself to find reasons why you CAN!!

SHAWN IS DOING HIS BEST AT BASEBALL!

I am extremely proud of this boy right here! He is doing great at pitching and just putting himself out there! Baseball may seem like an easy sport, but it isn’t. So much to pay attention to, accurate throws have got to be made, and quick thinking and speed need to be on your side.

Shawn is always learning and believe me, there are times he isn’t paying attention or on his game, but for the most part. He does alright. He shows up to practice with no fight and puts in the work! We have been giving him more one on one coaching for his skills and they always pay off!

I created these player introductions for each of our kids on our team and people love seeing these kids and cheering them on! We ask the questions and those answers are straight from the kids. LOL Some are funny but all of them are unique and interesting for each child.

I love that he got to be apart of a travel ball team that makes it fun without being so strict all the time. At this age, it makes the child love the sport even more! We are in All Stars and it is a different coach and one that is more strict. It is a fantastic balance for sure and exactly what Shawn needs.

Proud of him for putting in the effort and being so consistent in his skills!

I am sharing our player introductions on Facebook so check them out by clicking the button below! These kids are fantastic!
