Because I love Tony and I wanted to share a oldie but a goodie memory that popped up for me this week. We was headed to baseball and I hadn’t even brushed my hair, but I changed it to a black and white photo for the heck of it.

This is us.

Been together for 23 years and married for almost 21 of those years. We work together to keep the house afloat and bills paid and take care of our son the best we know how. We aren’t perfect, but we are happy. True love stands by each other’s side on good days and stands closer on bad days.

Saw this quote and wanted to share with you:

A perfect marriage is just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other.

How true is that quote? I absolutely love it!

Our anniversary is coming up in July for our 21 year wedding anniversary. The time sure has flown by.

Yessssssss My WHY is precisely the reason I show up daily!

When I couldn't get down in the floor easily without struggle to play with Shawn as a baby....I thought...wow Rebecca...he is only going to get faster and you won't be able to hang.

You got to do better for him....and so I did. I ended the excuses of I can't...and told myself for you...I can.

After I proved to myself I could do this for him...I did it for myself and then…only then...did I prove that anything was possible with a shift in my mindset and my belief within!

READ THAT AGAIN MY FRIEND! There is more to life than a constant struggle!

Be the reason you put a smile on another's face!!! Whether it be your loved ones or your kiddos. Don't be cranky all the time. They pick up on that. Show them love, happiness, and what life is all about!! Because let's face it....time flies and before you know it, they are all grown up and you don't want any regrets!!

Oh the giggles from my little boy warms this momma's heart like crazy!! I look back and some days it feels like time is running out. He is growing up so fast and it is literally like a flash before my very own eyes.

Some days I want it to slow down and others I can't wait to see how he will be at certain ages. He keeps me on my toes that is for sure, but I wouldn't have it any other way. We played outside all evening because it was gorgeous out!!

He rode his bike and we played ball. Last year he could hardly pedal...this year... he is flying with no training wheels.

Love and hold your kids close guys. People always told me they grow up fast and I believe it more and more every day!!
