This boy of mine got the game ball for the most strikeouts this SEASON. In our last game alone, he had 10 strikeouts while he was pitching. We got the news he made All Stars as well. I am beyond proud of him for all his hard work and efforts. He is one heck of a ball player in my opinion.

He also received academic awards at the Star Gala for his grades, attendance, and growth this year in 4th grade. I can’t believe he has one more year of elementary school. My baby is growing up too fast. He will be 11 years old and time is honestly flying by.

How did I get so lucky to call him mine?

God has blessed us so very much with this life. He is a very hard worker, competitive, loving, and caring all at the same time. I couldn’t imagine my life without him. He has made my world a much happier place.

So this post is all about him today. Your mom and dad are so happy for you and can’t wait to see where God takes you in life my son.

We love you buddy. Keep working hard!

To the little guy who made me Mommy!!

I always said I didn't want kids then finally I gave myself permission to actually do so!

What was my deal?

I always said I wouldn't be good enough, I wouldn't have enough patience, and I wasn't sure how to juggle a baby and life... The whole thing scared me to death... But after time and years went by... I found myself thinking I could and I didn't want to waste any more time...2 years of ovulation tests, doctor appointments and lots of prayers... The test was finally positive!

I was shocked and happy but also worried... More fears came up but I was ready this time. Ready to bring a life into this world!

My little guy was born with clubfeet and it was a hard road but we finally have gotten over that journey. Now he is living his best life through school, friends, church, and baseball.

Shawn you have given me a life that is joyful, happy, and filled with love that only you can provide!

You are the best son a momma can ask for.... You are kind, hilarious, and the best snuggle bug ever!

Thank you God for giving me such a blessing.... Thank you so much Shawn for being that amazing blessing and making these past 10 years absolutely wonderful.

So hard to believe you will be 11 in October... This time has flown by and has been filled with love, hope, joys, tears, and best of all... Days filled with your beautiful face and smile!

Happy Mother's Day to me, my mom, and to every other mother out there!

Last week I shared that I was having a surgery on Tuesday. It was to remove a cyst on my tail bone area. I have officially made it down one week and will have my two week follow up next Wednesday. I guess to get the stitches out. YIKES! Really nervous about that, but the recovery hasn’t been terrible.

The sleeping on my side has been the worst part of it. I am a back sleeper, so my arms and hips go numb from being on my side so much. I haven’t had a solid night sleep in over a week, so that sucks, but I will recovery soon! I didn’t do any newsletters this past week, as I am trying to get caught up at work where I took off a week for my surgery. So I will be back on track next week with everything.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the prayers, phone calls, messages, and support you have given me. I have the best friends and followers on my page. Thank God he was by my side through it all. I couldn’t have done it without Him.
