ARE YOU BEING POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE?

There are days that I still need to be reminded of how just stinking thinking can affect you!! Here lately I have been feeling a bit negative about myself. I feel I am becoming slack again in my nutrition, which kills me…because I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO DO…but I don’t!!! It literally drives me batty, but you know what? ONLY I and I ALONE have the power to change that!

I have started listening to The Secret again and it always brings me back to my thoughts. Thoughts become things. Plain and simple, and the more I keep being negative with myself, the more negative I will get!

So I started back this week being positive in my journal, really tracking, being dinner and done, and getting in more water!! These small steps are making the scale move again in the right direction, but if I would do them more consistently, I would be at my goal weight of 145 by now! But instead…I keep delaying!

So I am really focused this week and yes when I say this week…I mean THIS WEEK. I am not going to think 5 months down the road, even though that is precisely how long it will take me to lose the final 30-40 lbs. I got left hanging around, and that is being optimistic! LOL

So remember when things seem tough, they might be, but we have to change our thoughts about it…because we create more of that stuff…so here are my new thoughts:

  • I AM 145 LBS!!

  • I AM AT MY GOAL WEIGHT

  • I AM POWERFUL!

  • I HAVE CONTROL OF MY NUTRITION!

  • I AM GOOD ON THE WEEKENDS!

  • I GOT THIS!

  • I AM HAPPY WITH MYSELF!

  • I AM A FANTASTIC MOM AND WIFE!

  • I AM A SUPPORTIVE AND HELPFUL COACH!

  • I AM HEALTHY AND STRONG!

See all these I AM statements have power!! The saying, “I AM”, means you already are and in your mind, you begin to strive for that, you try harder, you have a goal to obtain, and by golly it works amazingly well!

So make a list of I AM statements when you are feeling down on yourself and see for yourself!
