WHAT DOES BEING HEALTHY MEAN TO YOU? Love this memory...Look how little Shawn was!!! What does healthy mean to you??To me, it means being able to get down and play with Shawn without having to struggle to get back up. Keeping up with him is now fun...not an "OH NO....can I handle this situation if he gets away from me!?!" Your children don't stay little forever...despite if we want them too or not! LOLIt means fitting in clothes that I would otherwise never try AND being confident in them!It means going out of my comfort zone to do workouts that I would never attempt because in my mind I didn't think I could do it BUT NOW I am crushing them with heavier weights than I ever thought was possible.It means having my blood sugar regulated and not getting blackouts! Controlling my health without medication is AMAZING!It means my endurance and stamina have greatly improved and I haven't felt this great in years!It means having great digestive health now...before it was just plain scary with all the complications I was having with my diverticulosis.It means making healthier food choices...instead of high sodium frozen dinners, pizza, pop tarts, and cans of soup FOR veggies, fruit, healthy fats and carbs, and lean meats... No skipping food groups!!!!When you incorporate proper nutrition and exercise into your lifestyle you will see changes...it is that simple. You have to be willing to accept change and know it doesn't happen overnight and to be patient with the process.Doing fad diets only hinder your success and doesn't bring anything full circle. You are right back where you started and you end up feeling defeated. Having this program has taught me so many things...carbs are not a bad thing if done properly. I can eat healthy food that tastes great and isn't bland. Exercise helps your body, it isn't a punishment! I actually enjoy doing it now!!You can have a healthy treat, such as Shakeology, and feel like you have never felt before, with the healthiest meal of the day, how could you not feel awesome?So see all things start from within...your mind has to be willing to ALLOW yourself to be awesome...because guess what?
