SAY A LITTLE PRAYER FOR SHAWN - 2 GAMES LEFT!

Shawn got to play catcher in this week’s game! He done pretty well with it!

He has been having trouble with being positive with himself at the plate when he is batting.

Then he walks out as the catcher

They say baseball is 90% mental....I believe it...I got to help him get back to what he was doing with coach pitch! Whew...what an adjustment player pitch is.

He said he didn't step out of the box this time....Yessssssss that is a BIG step for him because he is terrified he is gonna get hit by the ball since kids are all over the place with pitching as they learn too! Just part of the process

Now buddy....just swing...because with me...they go over the fence...you don't think...you just do...sooo we got to quiet the inner negative voice saying you can't...because you 1000% can...I see it every night we practice together!

We are trying a few things....I am hopeful he will be back at it with ease very soon!

Some of our boys had great plays tonight! We still lost but slowly coming out of our shells!! Go Cubs!
