LET ME HELP YOU WITH THIS PERSPECTIVE...

If you believe starving yourself is the way to go then your wrong!!

If you believe eating healthy is boring then your wrong!

If you believe eating healthy is restrictive then your wrong!

If you believe you have to drop your calories to 1200 or lower to lose then your wrong!

Your body is smart!!

You wouldn't expect to put $5.00 of gas in your tank and drive 6 hours without feeling up on more gas would you? Then why are you trying to do that with your body and the food you eat!?

Unpopular opinion here and I don't care if it offends you or not! LOL The food we have in fast food restaurants is so processed it is ridiculous and people are rewarding their kids with sugary drinks and candy for games or just playing outside. Their bodies are trying to grow and you keep buying cupcakes and candy and sweets on the DAILY!! For what reason?? Because you don't want to be told NO?? (insert eye roll from Rebecca) LOL I tell it like it is and I don't sugar coat it. There is absolutely no reason why you need that crap DAILY and neither do your kids! Rant over!

Trust me, I have had my fair share of fad diets in the past and you know where it got me? Nowhere! That is because diets don't work and if you have tried them, then you know 100% what I am talking about!

As a human being, we hate being told NO we can't have something, am I right??

Do this for me...don't think about elephants at all.

Don't think about the floppy ears, the long trunk, the grey skin...none of it.

How did you do??

You thought of elephants didn't you?

LOL Diets are the same thing. You are basically restricting yourself and telling yourself NOT TO EAT IT! How crazy is that?

I get why you might think the way you do, and that starving must be the answer or completely eliminating carbs is the answer, but NOPE...it isn't!

Our bodies need PROPER fuel and so does our kids!

I don't care what kind of silly marketing grocery stores put out and make it all kinds of colors for it to appeal to kids but I am not buying it. It is nonsense and if you read the ingredients can you pronounce any of it??

We are accustomed to believe that ALL CARBS are bad and that is so far from the truth! We need carbs for ENERGY! If you remove that key food group your butt will be dragging all day!

That my friend is why diets and quick fixes don't work. Your body needs all the RIGHT FOODS to survive and to have healthy skin and hair you need to eat from the GOOD fats, carbs, proteins, veggies, oils, fruits, etc. to be healthy!

I don't eliminate ANY food groups and that my friend is how I lost the 70 lbs. and over 30 inches! It wasn't until I realized that I could actually EAT those things and still lose weight did my life change! It really changed my mindset when I learned just how TERRIBLE the processed crap and sugar is for your body!

Without our nutrition programs it was very hard for me to know what to do! I was struggling for BALANCE of it all and I had to really shift the mindset and the thoughts of all the fad diets out there to really get a handle on LONG TERM SUSTAINABLE weight loss!

Six years in and I couldn't imagine doing anything else! I learned so much on how to plate my food, how to fix my relationship with it, learn about the 5 senses of hunger, and really reign in my emotional eating before I could say I GOT THIS!! This is really effortless now!

So many struggle with nutrition and I am telling you that there is a better way and it has NOTHING to do with starving yourself OR DIETING 24/7!

I am NOT restricted, I still live my life, and I still see results to this day! So yeah...there is something to say about consistency and incredible wealth of knowledge that I gained along the way!

So if you believe that DIETING SUCKS I hear ya sister! It truly does! Healthy food isn't boring it is actually delicious! I post my meals in my group and in my stories and I get so many comments on how YUMMY it looks! Ya'll need ideas and need to learn how to do this right....well I got you!! Let me share the tools my friend! I will help you succeed too!

Feel free to share this blog post or tag a friend if this is what you needed to hear today!
