EMOTIONAL EATER? FIND YOUR TRIGGER!
Did you know there are 5 Senses of Hunger!?!??!
SAY WHAT!?!?
When I went through one of my nutrition certifications, we dove deeper into what triggers our "cravings"!!
1. SEE - Family is eating chips...you SEE them eat them so you automatically WANT to eat them too!
2. SMELL - When you walk in the mall past a pastry shop, you SMELL it...than you crave it!!
3. TOUCH - If you pass the bread basket and you TOUCH how fluffy and soft the bread FEELS, you than crave and want to eat it.
4. TASTE - You have taken ONE bite to taste and now you CRAVE it!!
5. HEAR - You are at a movie theater...you HEAR the popcorn popping...OR you are at a restaurant and you HEAR the steak sizzling...you than WANT IT!
When you can recognize that these are just your senses and not actually PHYSICAL hunger than you can WIN by not playing into those senses!

Talk about empowering!! OR you might have FOMO - FEAR OF MISSING OUT!!
